Georgia football’s Oscar Delp makes decision on future with Bulldogs

Georgia Bulldogs tight end Oscar Delp had some fun announcing his decision for 2025.

Delp, a rising senior, posted a hype video to his personal Instagram account to reveal that he was staying in Athens for one last ride.

“Let’s get it,” Delp wrote as the video caption.

Delp finished his junior year hauling in 21 passes for 248 yards and four touchdowns.

His best game came during Georgia’s 31-17 win over Tennessee where he hauled in four receptions for 56 yards and two touchdowns.

This is huge news considering Gunner Stockton is expected to take over at QB1 in place of Carson Beck.

Delp and Stockton are roommates and have developed a tight relationship over last two years.

“He’s an awesome roommate,” Delp said of Stockton ahead of the Sugar Bowl vs. Notre Dame. “Super clean. Brings good food to the house always. He’s a great guy. We just hang out in the living room, we all play games, hang out and have fun.”

Georgia’s tight end room for next fall looks solid with rising junior Lawson Luckie also returning. Luckie led the tight ends with 24 catches for 348 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2024.

Additionally, the Bulldogs have rising sophomore Jaden Reddell and incoming four-star freshmen Elyiss Williams and Ethan Barbour to look forward to in 2025.
