Film Session: Kanaan Carlyle’s performance against Ohio State

In Indiana’s overtime win against Ohio State on Friday night, Kanaan Carlyle went 5-of-12 from the field, tied for his most field goal makes this season.

While Carlyle’s mid-range shot selection is still inefficient, the fact that he got 36 minutes of play due to Myles Rice’s foul trouble allowed him to work through it some.

Carlyle got more shots at the basket as a result, key in his ability to help out offensively with 13 points. It was important on a night when the Hoosiers needed someone else to step up to pull out the win, with Mackenzie Mgbako, Trey Galloway and Rice all in single digits.
