Auburn football trending up for 3-star OT after multiple visits

The Auburn football coaching staff has been recruiting hard during the offseason. They pulled in a top-ranked transfer class that helped solidify the Tigers’ No. 6 ranking for their 2025 recruiting class, and most of those signees have already arrived on campus to begin working with the team ahead of spring practices.

Now, the Auburn coaching staff has turned its focus to the recruiting class of 2026. They hosted a big Junior Day event at the end of January, and the Auburn football program is trending up for one of the attendees.

Out of Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia, 3-star offensive tackle Parker Pritchett is ranked as the No. 43 IOL in the recruiting class of 2026 and is the No. 54 recruit out of the Peach State. He has over 25 offers and is being pursued by multiple schools around the SEC.

Head coach Hugh Freeze paid a visit to Pritchett at his school a few days before Junior Day and informed the offensive lineman that he is a priority for the Tigers in this recruiting cycle. On Pritchett’s trip to the Plains in late January, he got to tour the facilities and attend Auburn basketball’s matchup with Tennessee.

“Just the tour and then seeing this game, the game was close and it was hype, it was a good experience,” Pritchett said of what stuck out to him on his Junior Day visit, per Auburn Rivals. “I enjoyed it. It was great, smiles everywhere, I just enjoyed being here.”

Pritchett has scheduled an official visit to the Plains on May 30, but the Tigers will push to get him to return to campus for a spring practice before that. The OL plans to take all his official visits and then make a decision this summer, but for now, Auburn stands out as a top school.
