Full list of Kansas State players invited to the 2025 NFL Combine

Three Kansas State Wildcats were invited to showcase their talents to the NFL scouts at the 2025 NFL Combine.

Kansas State had a season of serious highs and then serious lows as they were projected to fare a lot better in 2024. Behind head coach Chris Klieman and first-year full-time starter Avery Johnson, the Wildcats finished the season 9-4 with a win on the Rate Bowl over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

Now with the season over and Klieman and the rest of the players sticking around turning the page to the 2025 season, players not returning to the program with their sites set on the NFL are preparing in their own way for their next venture.

Invites for the NFL Combine came out this week and three Kansas State Wildcats were invited to the coveted event.

What is the NFL Combine?

The NFL Combine is a four-day invitation-only event that showcases the top college football draft-eligible players from around the country. Held in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis Colts, the NFL Combine will take place from February 27 to March 2 this year.

Not every player who is eligible for the NFL Draft attends the NFL Combine. With only about 300 players attending the combine each year, they must have an invitation to participate in the event. The Player Selection Committee made up of personnel from around the NFL come together to look at all draft-eligible players and vote whether or not they should receive an invite and if they get the desired number of votes, they are extended an invitation.

The combine tests more than just the football skills of each player, but it also tests their mental side of the sport as well as the medical side of each player.

Which Kansas State Wildcats received an invitation for the 2025 NFL Combine?

The three Kansas State Wildcats who received an invite to the 2025 NFL Combine are running back DJ Giddens, defensive back Jacob Parrish, and defensive back Marques Sigle.

Giddens was huge for Kansas State this season as the lead back in what could be considered a split backfield with the Colorado transfer Dylan Edwards joining the team this season. While not the biggest running back, Giddens is still ranking high in a loaded class of running backs this year after a season with 1,343 yards and seven touchdowns averaging 6.6 yards per carry. He was also used in the passing game with 258 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

Both Parrish and Sigle were crucial parts of Kansas State’s secondary this season and leave big holes for Klieman to fill. Following a shining 2023 season, Sigle’s numbers dipped just slightly, but still were great with 60 total tackles, three passes defended and three interceptions.

Parrish had his best season in his junior year with 50 total tackles, seven passes defended and one interception. He had four interceptions in 2023 and even recorded half a sack as well. Both should potentially go in the later rounds but could make a difference for any team they play on.
