How the Tennessee Vols’ big game against Alabama Crimson Tide will have an extra burst of nostalgia ahead of March Madness

The Tennessee Vols will head to Baton Rouge on Tuesday for a matchup against the LSU Tigers before returning home for a huge showdown in Knoxville against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.

Tennessee’s matchup against Alabama will go a long way in determining the seeding of the upcoming SEC Tournament (as well as the NCAA Tournament).

The Vols have won five of their last six games, seemingly finding their groove after going 4-4 in January. Tennessee’s road win against No. 7 Texas A&M this past weekend was one of the Vols’ most impressive wins of the season.

Alabama, meanwhile, has last two of their last three games after seeing their seven game winning streak come to an end. The Crimson Tide, which beat Kentucky over the weekend, are set to host Mississippi State on Tuesday night before heading to Knoxville.
