LSU to host elite 2027 running back Jayden Miles on a visit this Spring
The Spring is officially underway for the LSU Football Program as the Tigers kick off their Spring Practices on Saturday. While the Spring practices are key for programs in developing players and installing offensive and defensive schemes, the Spring is also vital on the recruiting trail. As the Tigers practice each week, top recruits make their way to Baton Rouge to check out LSU’s practices evaluating if they’d fit in at LSU.
Among the players making their way to Baton Rouge is In-State running back Jayden Miles a star in the 2027 recruiting class.

Miles will visit LSU next weekend as he plans to make his way to campus on March 14th for practice.
Rivals is the lone recruiting service to rank Miles thus far as he’s in the 2027 recruiting class but, the In-State star is currently ranked as the 55th ranked player in the class, the 4th ranked running back in the class, and the 7th ranked player in Louisiana in what is a loaded In-State class for LSU to pick through.
Frank Wilson handed out an offer to Jayden Miles during LSU’s Boys in the Boot Junior Day event and will look to keep an In-State star at home. Catholic High has become an important school to recruit for LSU as of late producing LSU defensive back Jacob Bradford, 2026 LSU targer Blaine Bradford, and now 2027 LSU Target Jayden Miles.
The Tigers are seemingly looking to heavily recruit running backs once again in the 2027 recruiting class after signing two running backs in the 2025 recruiting class. It’ll be tough to land any running backs in the 2026 class as they’ll be joining a young room with elite players in Caden Durham, Harlem Berry, and JT Lindsey which makes the 2027 cycle important for running backs.
