Building up Colin Fisher is Arkansas baseball’s first priority on the mound vs. UCA
FAYETTEVILLE — Innings on the mound were at a premium when Arkansas swept a midweek series against Louisiana-Monroe and a weekend series against Portland in the past week, but don’t expect a bullpen day when the third-ranked Razorbacks host Central Arkansas on Tuesday.
Sophomore left-hander Colin Fisher will get the ball for Arkansas to start the 6 p.m. game at Baum-Walker Stadium. In 8 innings over 5 appearances, Fisher has a 1.12 ERA and 0.88 WHIP.
Fisher pitched 3 scoreless innings with 1 hit, 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in his first start of the season last week against ULM. He threw 41 pitches and is expected to be on a slightly higher pitch count this time around.
