BREAKING: Indiana’s Gabe Cupps enters the transfer portal
Indiana guard Gabe Cupps has entered the transfer portal, according to Verbal Commits.
Cupps, a 6-foot-2 guard, played in just four games this season for the Hoosiers and played a total of 25 minutes without registering a point.
As a freshman, he appeared in 33 games for Indiana and averaged 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 21.6 minutes per game.
Ohio’s 2022 Mr. Basketball, Cupps was considered a four-star recruit out of Centerville High School in Ohio.
He helped lead Centerville to the 2021 high school championship and a runner-up finish in 2022.
Cupps should receive a medical redshirt for the 2024-25 season and would have three seasons of eligibility at his next school.
