BREAKING: Kansas State football adds Wagner offensive tackle Brandon Sneh from transfer portal

Kansas State football has dipped into the transfer portal again to address a need for veteran depth on the offensive line.

Wagner offensive tackle Brandon Sneh announced his commitment to the Wildcats via social media and is their second portal pickup for an offensive line that must replace at least three and maybe four starters from 2024.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Sneath has climbed the ladder through the college ranks, spending his freshman year at Division II Elizabeth City State College in North Carolina before jumping to FCS school Wagner as a sophomore in 2024. He chose K-State over offers from Power Four schools California, Colorado, Houston and Illinois among others and will have two years of eligibility left for the Wildcats.

K-State hopes Sneh can step right in at an offensive tackle after losing starters Carver Willis to Washington through the portal and Easton Kilty to graduation. Andrew Leingang filled Willis’ spot at right tackle in the Wildcats’ 44-41 Rate Bowl victory over Rutgers but is expected to move to guard next season.

Center Sam Hecht is the lone returning starter on the offensive line for the Wildcats, though right guard Taylor Poitier could petition the NCAA for an injury waver after losing two seasons to knee injuries.

The Wildcats also added Southern California interior lineman Amos Talele from the portal earlier. Sneh is the 11th portal pickup by K-State since the end of the regular season and the fourth since the new year.
