Alabama star WR signs NIL deal with nail polish brand

Wide receiver Ryan Williams was a phenom for the Alabama Crimson Tide as a freshman. He may have been outshined a bit by Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, but there’s no doubting Williams’ production for the Tide.

He caught 48 passes for 865 yards and eight touchdowns, and let’s not forget that one of those touchdowns looked like this:

It’s now being reported that Williams is cashing in on his awesome freshman season with a pretty cool NIL deal. He’s been known for having his nails painted before games, and he revealed that it’s a tradition he has with his little sister. He lets her paint his nails.

NIL is certainly still in its “wild west” phase, and there’s plenty of bad to go along with the good of it, but a creative NIL deal like this that allows a player to cash in on their personality is absolutely one of the coolest parts about this new era of college football.
