Elite OT Prospect Puts Sun Devils Among Top Schools
Bryce Gilmore is ranked as the No. 15 offensive tackle in the country and No. 29 overall prospect in his home state of Texas, according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 270 pound tackle is a four-star recruit out of Prosper, Texas and currently attends Prosper High School.
Gilmore, who is a part of the 2026 recruiting class, has announced his top six college choices, with the Arizona State Sun Devils making the list. The other finalists are Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Penn State, and Texas Tech.
In the 247sports article, Gilmore spoke with Mike Roach on why he included Arizona State in his top six schools.
The Sun Devils appear to still be in the race because of personal factors.
“I was born in Arizona and I love their whole coaching staff,” Gilmore said. “They’ve shown me a lot of love.”
Arizona State’s inclusion in Gilmore’s final six speaks to the growing appeal of the Sun Devils under Dillingham’s leadership. With a strong emphasis on player development and a focus on recruiting top talent, the program continues to position itself as a destination for top recruits.
Gilmore plans to potentially visit with all six schools unofficially throughout the spring, and then again over the summer for his official and final visits.
Ole Miss is already officially set to host Gilmore the second weekend in April.
His father, Bryan Gilmore, played eight seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL after a college career at Midwestern State.
Gilmore’s recruitment is expected to intensify as he nears a final decision. For now, ASU remains firmly in the race for one of the most coveted offensive linemen in the 2026 class.
