Beaver Stadium renovations: What will Penn State football’s Blue-White Game look like now?
The annual Penn State football Blue-White Game is only two months away.
But what, exactly, will the fan experience be like during ongoing Beaver Stadium renovations?
That’s a question Penn State athletic director Pat Kraft struggled to answer during his annual, wide-ranging winter press conference on Monday. A seven-days-a-week construction operation, one that will eventually transform the West side of the stadium and more, should alter logistics for the April 26 scrimmage.
The theme from Kraft: Stay tuned to updates when it comes to seating, stadium entrance points and parking.
“The spring game is going to be a little interesting, and by interesting, I really don’t know what it’s going to look like (yet),” Kraft said. “So, you know, look for our information on how to get in the building, and get around the building. And I understand, you got the best football team in the country, and everybody wants to get in. So we’re going to try. We’re going to really work on some things to figure out nuances to that.
“And so it’s going to be a bit of an interesting Blue-White game, but we’ll make sure we get everyone information on how to enjoy it.”
