LSU to host elite Top 50 Recruit Darius Gray on an Unofficial Visit this Spring
The Month of March is going to be an all out frenzy across College Football on the recruiting trail. Coming out of February where there was a recruiting dead period in place, recruits will be traveling all over the Country to make their way to college campuses as they look for the program they’ll attend after College.
LSU is set to host Top Recruits all throughout the month with the hope of landing commitments or landing official visits this Summer. The Tigers currently hold the Nation’s 3rd ranked recruiting class and the Top Class in the SEC which they’ll look to continue as they seek more commitments.
Brad Davis will get one of his top recruits on Campus March 21st as Offensive Lineman Darius Gray will be in Baton Rouge for an Unofficial visit.
Darius Gray is one of the top offensive line recruits in the Country and a player Brad Davis has been after since July when he first offered Gray. This winter, Brad Davis made the trip to watch Darius Gray’s High School Basketball Game.
According to On3’s Industry Recruiting Rankings, Darius Gray is the 40th ranked player in the 2026 recruiting class, the 3rd ranked interior offensive lineman, and the 2nd ranked player out of Virginia.
After signing four offensive linemen during the 2025 recruiting class, LSU will once again be adding a sizeable class of offensive linemen. Incoming transfers Josh Thompson and Braelin Moore will likely depart after the season for the NFL while the transfer portal can always add losses.
LSU has a ton of competition for Darius Gray as he’s become one of the most sought after players in the class drawing attention from Coast to Coast. Brad Davis has LSU in the running for Gray but, LSU will need to do a solid job on Gray’s Spring and Summer visits to truly have a chance at landing him.
